It is home to two private golf courses: Dragon Ridge Country Club at MacDonald Highlands and Desert Willow Golf Course at Sun City MacDonald Ranch.

Great amenities including hiking/biking trails, tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, etc. are offered as recreation to residents. The community is only minutes from shopping, dining, and schooling. The Las Vegas Strip is visible from many properties. Access to mountains and Lake Mead is within a short drive.
